Wedding Photography

“I’m here to capture the real stuff - the giggles, the tears, the lovingly DIY’d details, and the little glances when you think no one’s watching (spoiler: I am!).”

How I'll tell your story

My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, colourful and full of personality - just like the couples I work with. I'm here to capture the real stuff - the spontaneous giggles, the tears during speeches, the lovingly DIY’d details you spent months crafting, and those fleeting little moments when you think no one’s watching (spoiler: I am!). These are all the little things that make your wedding yours. No stiff posing. No fake smiles. Just genuine, authentic moments as they unfold throughout your day.

Throughout the day, I blend into the background like a friend with a camera - always close enough to catch the action, but never in the way. You get to be fully present, soaking it all in, while I quietly capture everything, making sure none of it is forgotten.

Should you swipe right on me?

Planning a wedding can be a whirlwind - I know, because I’m currently planning my own! I get just how much time, thought, and heart goes into creating a day that truly reflects you. That’s why choosing the right photographer is such a big deal. After the confetti’s settled and the cake’s been eaten, your photos will be one of the few lasting things you’ll hold onto, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly.

But it’s not just about the photos. Your photographer is probably the one person you’ll spend the most time with on your wedding day, even more than any single guest you invite! So it’s really important that we click, that you feel relaxed in my company, and that you can actually imagine enjoying having me around all day. I’m very lucky and have always gotten on with my couples like a house on fire, but I’m more than happy to meet up for a cuppa or a pint before you book. It's a great opportunity to just to check we’re a good fit (and also to reassure you that I’m not a serial killer or anything).

“It’s not just about capturing the day - it’s about creating a safe space where you feel seen, respected, and totally celebrated.”

You're in a safe space.

As a queer photographer, LGBTQ+ weddings aren’t just something I photograph, they’re something I care about deeply, because they’re part of my story too.

I grew up and started photographing weddings in a time when LGBTQ+ marriage wasn't even legal. So every queer wedding I capture holds a very special place in my heart. It’s not just another booking or about ticking an LGBTQ+ friendly box for me. It’s a celebration of love that, for so long, wasn’t recognised. And that really means something to me.

When I photograph LGBTQ+ weddings, it’s not just about capturing the day, it’s about creating a safe space where you feel seen, respected, and totally celebrated. That means no awkward assumptions, no weird questions like “who’s wearing the dress?”, and no pressure to fit into traditions that don’t reflect who you are. Whether you’re trans, non-binary, same-sex, or somewhere else under the beautiful rainbow umbrella, you’ll always be met with nothing but love.

we hate having our photo taken!

If I'm being honest... SAME! Most of the couples I work with tell me this before we even meet, and it’s completely normal.

Whether you're camera-shy, convinced you're “not photogenic,” or just feel plain awkward in front of a lens, I’ve got you. My job isn’t to make you pose like someone you're not. It’s to help you feel comfortable and embrace you being totally yourselves. I keep things relaxed, light-hearted and full of movement, so it never feels stiff or staged.

Think of it less like a photoshoot and more like hanging out with a mate who happens to have a camera. I’ll gently guide you when needed - no weird poses, no cringey instructions, just a bit of playful direction so I can capture you having fun. You’ll be surprised how quickly you forget the camera’s even there!

By the end, most people are surprised to realise they actually enjoyed it and the best part is when you see your gallery and can't believe how good the photos are.
